Eseye Presents at Medical Monitoring Devices Event
Background
This summer, Lord Darzi, Parliamentary Under Secretary in the Department of Health, in his “Next Stage Review of the NHS” report, pointed out that the NHS has as high priority areas for future care to help (healthy) people to stay healthy, and that if they fall ill that they will get greater control of their own care. Primary care will be a centre point for this strategy and is expected to help patients stay out of hospitals.
How Connectivity helps
Where patients are monitoring their condition at home, it is vital that medical staff have reliable access to the clinical data. Eseye has seen considerable interest from the manufacturers of monitoring equipment who can show real benefits in patient care by using cellular connectivity to report readings back to a secure database in real time.
Presentation
Paul Marshall presented an overview of Eseye’s complete connectivity solutions to an audience who were experts in the fields of designing sensors, and using the results for diagnosis.
