The session being given by Ian Marsden our CTO at 14:45 and will cover the design decisions to cellular enable a real world product. He will provide guidance on selecting an appropriate cellular modem and communications protocol (e.g. CSD, SMS, USSD or GPRS). Then he will discuss the complexities of communicating with and managing the remote device. Lastly he will conclude by explaining the options for collating the remote data and presenting it back to the user.
