Cellular routers

Where an existing product connection is to be upgraded e.g. from wired Ethernet, cellular routers are the quickest and most cost effective method of achieving connectivity.

Eseye supplies a range of cellular routers and connectivity to support applications as diverse as CCTV for law enforcement agencies, roadside traffic management systems, sporting events and heating control systems.  These have a range of interface, including Ethernet, serial RS232, USB and CANbus.

When selecting a router, it is critical to consider the application and operational environment.  For example, the final choice may be different for a modem providing backup for a wired connection (where sensing data on its input triggers a connection) or if an open connection must be maintained at all times.

Also, some applications need 3G data rates, but many do not today, but may in the future.  Eseye can advise on the options and help determine the best way to combine your device and application(s) with M2M connectivity.  For example, features such as real world fixed IP address and reverse DNS may be important for some applications but not others.
