HSPA 3G

Machine to Machine applications require 3G connectivity when the data rates exceed those available from GPRS or EDGE. Normally applications requiring the higher data rates are streaming data, or transferring blocks of data which are large, and latency is important. Normally when applications call for 3G performance, this means HSPA (High Speed Packet Access)

Eseye’s connectivity is fully compatible with 3G and HSPA connections, and the bandwidth at the APN can be guaranteed. In some situations, such as sporting events, the local cellular base stations can become busy, and the 3G connection becomes slower as the bandwidth is shared amongst the users. This may be a problem if the connection is to be used for CCTV for crowd safety.If required, Eseye can provision SIM cards with priority access to the base station, ensuring that the wireless bandwidth is maintained.
