Fitted a SIM, but want to change operator? Not a problem with Eseye.
One of the great conundrums of M2M can be which operator to use. No one operator can provide ubiquitous coverage, nor the best rates in every country. It has until now been a compromise that has been reluctantly accepted. And what if your connection is mobile and can move between countries – cars are a prime example - your initial decision may now be flawed and costing considerable unanticipated roaming charges.
Eseye has therefore developed the capability to remotely control and change the operator(s) which a particular device uses. Thus, a device can have an Eseye SIM factory fitted with our network connection programmed as a default. Upon installation, the SIM will contact Eseye's servers and notify its location. Based upon this information, Eseye can determine the optimal operator(s) to use, based upon pre-agreed customer business rules e.g. guaranteed connectivity, connection speed, cost.
For obvious reasons, this operator independent approach is not available from the traditional mobile operators. Only Eseye, as an independent, dedicated M2M service provider can deliver this flexibility and focus delivering this optimised solution based on your business needs.
