SingleNet or AnyNet
The best of both worlds – connect to Any Network, but only incur the long term costs of one dedicated network provider. Only from Eseye.
For many applications, access to one network in any territory is sufficient, as most mobile operators provide a good level of coverage, or have their own private roaming agreements with other in-territory operators. This is how personal mobile phones work, and is available as Eseye's SingleNet service.
However, in many M2M applications, the SIM is fitted at manufacture, and may be a chip SIM which means it is an integral part of the device and can never be changed. In these instances, certainty of a connection quickly overrides any other consideration as the cost of an engineer visit to swap the SIM is simply uneconomic or simply impossible. Smart meters are a prime example of this conundrum, and field experience shows that any one network only offers coverage in 80-90% of locations.
Thus Eseye has pioneered the concept of an AnyNet SIM, which, as the name implies can connect to Any Network. This means that if there is mobile coverage in a location, the device can connect.
AnyNet+
Furthermore, for fixed installations, Eseye can provide its premium AnyNet+ service. With this service, Eseye combines the AnyNet service with its Remote programming and change of operator service to provide initial connectivity over AnyNet. But after an agreed period and detailed network analysis, Eseye can then move the connection to an operator which has demonstrated most reliable connection over the period, of say, three months.
The best of both worlds – connect to Any Network, but only incur the long term costs of one dedicated network provider. Only from Eseye.
