Planned Maintenance on the Orange Network

June 24th, 2010

27 - 28 June 2010

Customers using the Orange network may experience an outage of up to 10 minutes some time between 23:00 27/6/10 and  06:00 28/6/10

During this period there will be a 10 minute interruption to data services. This means data and video calling will be unavailable.

SIM Management Portal Upgrade

May 26th, 2010

Latest release of the SIAM portal will go live at 17:00 on the 28th of May. The portal will not be available for a few minutes around this time. Live services will not be affected.

ISP maintenance

May 26th, 2010

Due to work being carried out by our ISP some of our secondary services will be unavilable over the weekend of the 5th and 6th of June 2010. Services affected will be:

  • SIM Managment Portal
  • Tracking Portal

Also the following services will be operating on their secondary paths:

  • Serval data collection / synchronisation gateway
  • SMS gateway

Data Centre Upgrade Succesfull

The Eseye APN upgrade has been completed successfully.

Some customers with direct access to their cellular connections through a VPN may see authentications fail during the next hour while the security configuration updates are completed

Data Centre Upgrade

April 20th, 2010

An upgrade of the Eseye APN infrastructure is scheduled for 15:00 BST 23/04/2010

Customers are advised that all connections will be dropped during this upgrade and it will take a couple of hours for all services to return to full operation.

The upgrade will add further redundancy into the Eseye APN infrastructure covering both Single network and Multi-Network services. We will post further updates as the upgrade progresses

Restored Service - Orange APN

April 8th, 2010

Fixed-IP devices and Redundant VPN customers are fully functional again. Other VPN customers will need to switch to using the alternate configuration for their devices.

Reduced Service - Orange APN

April 8th, 2010

On Thursday 8th April 2010 at 11:44, the primary GGSN suffered an loss of service. All connections have switched across to the secondary GGSN. The majority of customers will not notice any loss of service. Devices on VPNs and FixedIPs will fail to reconnect if they drop the connection. We are working on a fix to this issue.

Scheduled Maintenance

March 23rd, 2010

On Sunday 28th March Eseye will be upgrading their APN’s to enhance connectivity, speed and redundancy.

Between 03:00 - 04:30 hours BST – Customers will experience loss of connectivity for a maximum of 3 minutes.

Reload of Router configuration

February 18th, 2010

To support some additional routing features, it is necessary to reload one of the routers at the APN.

The reload is scheduled for 16:00 GMT Friday 19 Feb. During the reload, some customers may notice some data packets are lost or delayed, and TCP sessions may be broken.

The reload may also affect VPN connections, however client configurations will normally cause these be re-negotiated automatically.

VPN customers - Connection restart

December 9th, 2009

Some of our VPN customers may have noticed connections drop at 13:46 this afternoon.

This was caused by a CRC error on a switch.

All dropped connections recovered immediately the clients detected a failure, and attempted to reconnect.
