In the past, end users were required to arrange a contract with a mobile operator, purchasing & fitting SIM cards themselves. Now, the end users are demanding more. Cheaper connectivity, reliability of coverage, flexibility and minimum fuss. Product designers need to respond and design products and services to meet these demands.

SIM management must be built into the workflow and the service must be scalable as product volumes ramp up.

As part of the M2M+ platform, Eseye operates a fully integrated web based SIM management portal. Regardless of which operator a device is using, the SIM management portal allows a user to manage a portfolio of devices, enable new devices and update their existing configuration. The management pages provide detailed, real-time visibility of billing and usage information.

The Eseye SIM management tool is fully configurable, enabling features to be hidden from the end users as appropriate, furthemore it can easily be branded to suit the end product and customer.

The entire Eseye SIM management portal functionalilty is made available through a web-services interface enabling product designers to embed SIM management into their own product provisioning workflow and website.
