Edwin Zayas joins Eseye to continue to meet growing regional demand and support future goals to develop joint go to market offerings with strategic partners.

Global IoT connectivity specialist, Eseye, today announced the appointment of Edwin Zayas, as Channels and Alliances Director, to its management team.

The appointment of Zayas as Alliances Director sees him take overall responsibility for Eseye’s growing list of global strategic partners, including Eseye’s AnyNet federation of mobile network operators (MNOs), global system integrators and technology partners. As a key focus, Zayas will continue to expand Eseye’s industry-leading coalition of MNOs to provide best-in-class, reliable connectivity to enterprises supporting global IoT deployments.

Zayas’ extensive industry experience includes leadership roles at Verizon, where he led enterprise sales, product management and business alliances across the United States and Latin America. Before joining Eseye, he served as Senior Strategic Business Development Manager (Americas) at BlackBerry.

“I’ve already observed Eseye’s huge potential to grow the business across North America; I’m delighted to join the company at such an exciting period in its growth,” adds Zayas. “I look forward to working with the rest of the team – and our existing and new MNOs, technology partners and system integrators – to help solidify Eseye’s near-ubiquitous, worldwide connectivity for enterprises.”

“I join the entire Eseye team in extending a warm welcome to Edwin; he is a key addition to the business as we look towards our next period of growth,” concludes Nick Earle, CEO at Eseye. “His proven track record in executing successful go-to-market initiatives across the Americas will be instrumental in expanding our market share. Our existing and new customers will be in more than capable hands with Edwin as we place increasing emphasis on strengthening our channel partnerships.”

The appointment of Zayas follows an impressive start to 2021 for Eseye. It has announced strategic partnerships with Armis, Device Insight and Plintron, while its partnership with TELUS saw its sister organisation, TELUS Ventures, invest £15 million in Eseye.
