Eseye expands global presence with South Africa Office.

Guildford, UK 18th December 2014. Global Internet of Things solutions provider Eseye are pleased to announce a further expansion to their global presence, with the opening of an office in Rivonia, a suburb of Johannesburg in South Africa, on Friday 12th December 2014. This is Eseye’s first African-based office, and adds to a growing number of Eseye offices across the globe.

From its present offices in Europe, Australia, India and the USA, Eseye manages connected IoT devices in over 96 countries and provides device consultancy and support to its global customers. The Africa office opening is another example of how Eseye are committed to supporting its global partners and customers, locally.

Having worked with M-Kopa and other customers since 2011, Eseye already have a significant install base across the African continent with customers in more than six African countries including South Africa, Kenya, Zambia, Nigeria, Tanzania and Ethiopia. In addition, Eseye have had a datacentre in Kenya for several years, supporting over 140,000 devices including M-Kopa’s.

“As the number of devices grew significantly in Africa in the first half of 2014 so Eseye planned the opening of the Rovonia office in line with its global go-to-market strategy.“

Julian Hardy, CEO, Eseye

The new office will enable Eseye to strengthen its relationship with African customers, in addition to supporting their activities across the continent. Initially the team at the Rivonia office will focus on customer relationship management as well as sales and business development, and it is expected they will add core skills in the disciplines of pre-sales and technical support through 2015.

Our efforts in Africa, underpinned by the significant success of our partners such as M-Kopa and others, are continuing to prove and validate the need for highly managed IoT services to deliver asset finance, retails finance, healthcare and infrastructure programs. Eseye looks forward to even more impressive growth across the African continent in 2015.

Eseye is planning to further expand its global presence through the opening of at least 2 new offices and number of new datacentres in 2015, which will enable the company to supply new global customers, whilst continuing to provide them with a local approach and personalised solutions.
