Today’s exciting announcement of TELUS’s launch of their Global Connect Solution is a major milestone for Eseye, TELUS and the Industry in that it represents the launch of the industry’s first truly global IoT platform by a world-leading multi-billion dollar communications company.
Why the first? Because unlike other offerings which are based on local connectivity and global roaming the Global Connect Solution, powered by Eseye, offers eUICC enabled orchestration to deliver near 100% global cellular connectivity with access to 700 global networks in 190 countries, including localized IoT connections in key regulated markets. This unique capability is delivered through our AnyNet Federation of global MNO partners that enable us to localise connections onto their networks if needed.
This single global SIM and single IoT platform solution enables Enterprises to build and deploy IoT devices with embedded eSIM capabilities that connect everywhere, that can switch IMSI to maximise service provision, that can be secured and managed centrally while fully complying with all local permanent roaming regulations. This is a solution that has already been adopted by major Enterprises such as Amazon, Shell, Bosch, Phillips, Sony, Walmart and 2,000 others and will now be additionally offered at scale through TELUS.
This is a key milestone moment for Eseye in our growth journey. The partnership and investment by TELUS validates our core value proposition, business model and technology stack which we set out several years ago as part of our strategic growth plan. Our fundamental belief, which we founded the company on 14 years ago, remains the same. Namely that to deliver the highest IoT cellular device connectivity on a global basis requires a single eSIM solution, an abstracted agnostic IMSI switch in the cloud and seamless interoperability between the Mobile Network Operators.
If you solve these problems, you unleash the true business potential of IoT by enabling Enterprises to significantly simplify their core processes to save millions of dollars of cost as they deploy new innovative customer experiences by smart enabling their entire product range. Today’s announcements of the launch of TELUS Global Connect and the investment by TELUS Ventures in Eseye is a significant external validation of that strategy and its business potential going forward.
