Guildford, UK, 21th July 2016 – Eseye, the global M2M connectivity and data delivery specialist, today reported that Chief Customer Officer Paul Marshall will speak at the Mobile for Development (M4D) Utilities Africa Working Group in July, part of the African Mobile 360 Series event organised by GSMA.
The 2016 GSMA Mobile 360 Series is an important thought-leadership conference for executives in the mobile industry and key regulatory and government representatives. For this, the third in the series, key industry leaders will gather to discuss significant emerging trends and requirements across Africa with a focus on digital inclusion, network coverage and customers’ quality of experience.
On the Sunday of the conference attendees will travel off-site to join M-KOPA, one of Africa’s most innovative users of mobile technology and major Eseye partner. There they will view at first hand the company’s pan-African solar services, products and operations. This opportunity for executives to share the diverse and often challenging field-based experiences, a key area of Eseye’s expertise, builds on a fantastic year for M-KOPA, who were awarded the GSMA’s Best Mobile Innovation for Emerging Markets prize in February this year.
Paul Marshall said:
“I am excited to be able to discuss the opportunities and barriers of the mobile-enabled utilities sector in Africa. The value of mutually beneficial partnerships between MNOs and service providers is enormous. As a company we are proud to provide technical support and managed connectivity services to innovative businesses using M2M to deliver water, sanitation and clean energy. The Internet of Things and the financial inclusion it can bring are vital in delivering life changing applications to underserved communities. I look forward to sharing interesting stories and customer insights of M2M technology and show how new technology supports entrepreneurial productivity globally as well as locally”
The event will take place on 24th July at RAMADA ENCORE HOTEL: Ghana Avenue, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
