Chief Executive OfficerWith a proven record for growing companies successfully from proposition development through to volume deployment, Julian has been involved in numerous start-ups and business projects. Prior to Eseye Julian was a co-founder of several mobile technology and entertainment businesses including Silicon Valley based and backed Sennari that developed the concept of mobile CRM, whose principal client was Qualcomm, and Glu Mobile (NASDAQ listed). He has developed and sold mobile applications and platforms to carriers such as Vodafone, T Mobile and Orange as well as enterprises. His passion for all things mobile developed whilst he was MD of the UK’s largest ISP Portal – Freeserve a position he held when the company entered the FTSE 100 before its sale to France Telecom. He has also held senior positions in the digital media industry having been SVP MTV Digital and Commercial Director for Capital Radio Interactive. Julian has extensive industry contacts and a reputation for leading the journey from early stage investment to successful IPO.
Chief Technology OfficerIan has a passion for developing technology based solutions which deliver real improvements to business performance, the environment and quality of life. With a proven record for leading technology start-ups, Ian views technology as part of the bigger picture, delivering innovative solutions which solve real problems and demonstrate true business value. He co-founded CompXs, which went on to develop and deliver the world’s first ZigBee design; he also chaired the ZigBee Network Working Group. Prior to CompXs, Ian held senior software leadership roles at Philips, where he met Eseye’s co-founder, Paul Marshall. When not concentrating on Eseye (which isn’t often), Ian is a keen runner and enjoys nothing better than orienteering to the top of Ben Nevis.
Chief Operating OfficerAdam is a chartered accountant. He began his career at Deloitte Haskins & Sells before moving into Internal Audit at Cable & Wireless Plc and then to C&W’s subsidiary, Mercury Communications, where he held several management level roles in accountancy and finance. Following Mercury, Adam moved into the corporate markets division at C&W and then into the central finance function. He then led the turn-around of C3 Calling Card Co Ltd before taking up a position as Finance Director of Blue Star Mobile Group PLC, where he played a key role in a successful fundraising and AIM flotation. More recently, Adam ran his own consultancy business providing various finance director and non-executive services to a number of companies.
Chief Customer OfficerPaul is one of Eseye’s co-founders. He has continuously proven his amazing ability to analyse situations quickly and determine the most suitable approach to resolve issues and improve outcomes. With a background in senior design engineering, Paul’s focus is on ensuring his development, operations and support teams deliver solutions which work faultlessly in the field. Whether it’s a smart meter, a battery powered fuel tank monitoring system, or a mobile based micro-finance device, Paul and his team always deliver! As co-founder of CompXs (with Ian Marsden), Paul developed the world’s first IEEE 802.15.4 radio. After the company was sold to Integration Associates he moved on to found Eseye, again with Ian. Before CompXs, Paul was in senior radio design at Philips.
VP PayGo & Partner SolutionsA recognised industry figure, Jess has excellent all round corporate level experience operating as Senior Executive with small, medium and large corporations, all since leaving the British Army. Jess’ experience covers all aspects of business, including sales, marketing, business development and customer support as well as technologies and solutions including: IoT, M2M, Managed Services, Secure Wired & Wireless IP Networks, Storage Area Networks, Big Data, Cloud Based Services, Server and Storage Virtualization, Voice, Data & Multi-Media communications. Prior to ESEYE, Jess was Managing Director – EMEA for Trilliant Networks and has held senior / executive positions with Companies such as REACT, ACC & Ericsson.
Regional Director - AFRICAWith an Electronic Engineering and an MBA degree, Stephen is a senior executive in general management, business development and consultancy with a 20-year successful track record. A technology specialist in the smart card, mobile telecoms, M2M/IoT, biometrics, electronic payments and digital security industries, he has international experience in the UK, Europe and Africa. Stephen occupied leadership roles in the start-up and management of several subsidiaries for large multi-national companies, such as ORGA Card Systems and SAFRAN Morpho. He has wide-ranging commercial, sales & marketing and project management skills, with the ability to identify the key business drivers in strategic markets. As a born African, Stephen has a passion for the African market and the use of technology to make a social and commercial impact in the markets where it is deployed.
VP Sales & General Manager AmericasDamian McCabe is the GM & SVP for Eseye, responsible for the Americas region. Damian is a high profile telecoms executive specializing in Mobility, Machine-2-Machine / Internet of Things, Social-Local-Global media and Global Sales. Prior to Eseye, Damian held positions at PicPocket (Chief Revenue Officer), T-Mobile USA (VP IoT & M2M, Partner Sales) and airtel (President US). In addition to the Eseye business P&L, Damian’s responsibilities include setting the GTM business strategy, cultivating strategic relationships with Eseye’s partners, further expansion into new Sales channels and growing the IoT customer base. Damian is also a board member with PicPocket (Photo-Sharing for live events). Damian lives in Austin, TX with his 10 year old twins.
