Supporting over 800 networks in 190+ countries. Eseye’s extensive network access guarantees reliable and continuous connectivity for globally deployed, mission-critical IoT devices.
IoT and Connectivity Experts
You don’t need to be an expert in SGP.32 to find the right connectivity solution, because that’s what our experts are here to do on your behalf.
Around the world, 2G and 3G networks are being switched off and replaced with 4G and 5G networks, offering improved speed, capacity, and efficiency. We look at opportunities that could provide a positive side to the sunsetting challenge and provide solutions that stand the test of time.
Today, our AnyNet+ eSIM, integrated with the Infinity IoT Platform™, delivers near 100% connectivity uptime by seamlessly switching between over 800 networks across 190+ countries.
For enterprise IoT deployments planning for the future, our advanced eUICC eSIM connectivity solution will be fully compliant and ready for a seamless transition to SGP.32 and even the standardized IFPP specification (SGP.41/42).
Eseye’s Infinity IoT Connectivity Management Platform is the first market-ready SGP.32 eSim Platform that not only ensures the highest levels of reliability and performance for an IoT deployment but eliminates the need to configure mobile subscriptions in the factory, or the need to visit IoT and M2M devices in the field to switch SIMs.
Healthcare devices are governed very closely and can differ from market to market. It’s essential your devices comply with medical devices regulations, not to mention privacy and cybersecurity regulations too.
It can be a minefield. Save yourself the headache. Turn to our IoT specialists for certification and compliance support.
There is no magic wand to adopt and seamlessly migrate your Enterprise IoT to SGP.32. Get expert advice, practical steps and the strategic recommendations you need to transition.
What is SGP.32?
SGP.32 is the new GSMA RSP standard for IoT eSIM / eUICC, designed specifically for the Internet of Things. It combines the benefits of earlier eSIM/M2M /consumer eSIM standards (like SGP.02 and SGP.22) to enable remote control of operator profiles without requiring physical SIM swaps or user interaction.
Is Eseye already offering SGP.32 solutions?
Yes. Eseye is providing “SGP.32 readiness” through its eSIM / eUICC connectivity solutions. The Infinity IoT Platform™ and AnyNet+ eSIM service are fully compliant now with SGP.32.
What does “transitioning to SGP.32” involve? What do I need to do?
Here are some of the things enterprises need to consider:
I already use an existing AnyNet+ SIM card (ES7xxx and below). Will I need to replace physical SIMs or change device hardware?
If you are using an older AnyNet SIM (ES7xxx or below), you will need to swap it for the latest AnyNet+ SGP.32-compatible SIM card.
Most AnyNet+ eUICC SIMs are already multi-profile and can localize OTA, so in many cases you will not need to change your device hardware or connectivity setup. For confirmation, please speak with your Account Manager about your specific deployment.
Before deploying the new SIM, test it in your device to confirm compatibility and proper functionality. This step helps ensure the SIM card operates as intended within your device hardware.
When should I consider moving over to an SGP.32 solution?
If your device already has an eUICC (i.e. supports remote profiling) and supports required SGP.32 protocol, you may be able to migrate without hardware changes (refer to one of Eseye’s IoT Specialists for more information).
However, for devices that only support older SIM standards or that lack remote profile management, hardware replacement or upgrade will be required.
How does Eseye ensure connectivity continuity / fallback?
Eseye’s platform supports switching between many mobile networks (800+ networks in 190+ countries). The infrastructure is designed to allow automatic / remote switching to maintain connectivity, even if a primary operator profile fails. This minimizes downtime for globally deployed IoT devices.
What are the benefits of moving to SGP.32?
Some of the key benefits that SGP.32 offers are:
Are there any compatibility issues / constraints?
Yes, potential constraints include:
Can I select the carrier I want?
Eseye offers a managed service to simplify everything to do with connectivity. We will work with you to ensure the correct carrier and fallback options are selected. If you have an existing carrier profile and agreement that you would like to use in addition, this can be explored with one of our IoT Specialists.
Does using an alternative or fallback profile incur extra cost?
This depends on your provider and plan terms. Whichever profile you’re using is highly likely to incur an additional cost.
We recommend getting in touch to discuss your particular use case.
Can I transfer my SGP.32 SIM to Eseye?
Yes. Our IoT specialists can work with you and your teams to facilitate a smooth transfer. Get in touch to discuss your requirements.
