Rob Lloyd and Kimmberly Lau bring a combined 50+ years of technology and financial experience to Eseye, as the UK-headquartered IoT pioneer enjoys significant momentum

Eseye, a pioneer of leading-edge IoT connectivity solutions, today announced the appointment of Rob Lloyd and Kimmberly Lau to its Board of Directors. Both are seasoned technology and investment evangelists who will counsel Eseye’s senior leadership team as it continues on its upward growth trajectory.

Eseye has witnessed strong demand from enterprises that need to reduce the complexity of global IoT deployments, which has been a barrier to large-scale project rollouts, especially in North America. Both Rob and Kimmberly’s experience will prove invaluable to help customers and prospects overcome these challenges, while strengthening Eseye’s services proposition worldwide.

Rob is a leading visionary in global technology, spending over 20 years at Cisco in various executive leadership roles, across North America and Europe. During his tenure, Rob served as President of EMEA, rising to Executive Vice President of Worldwide Operations, before becoming President of Engineering and Sales in 2012.

In this position, Rob led a global team of 40,000 responsible for product development, worldwide sales, and channels and IoT, generating over $40bn in annual revenues. Subsequent to his time at Cisco, Rob served as the CEO of superfast transportation service, Virgin Hyperloop, for three years in the Los Angeles area.

Rob also serves on the Board of Trustees at Santa Clara University in his native California, and on the boards of several non-profit organisations that are focused on education and opportunity for youth.

Kimmberly brings over 25 years of experience as a capital markets professional to Eseye’s Board of Directors. She started her career as a management consultant in Central and Eastern Europe and is currently an executive Director and Partner at Asset Value Investors, which she joined in 2003.

Experienced in engaging with the Boards of both public and private companies, Kimmberly recently joined the board of a charity and education company.

“I join the rest of the senior leadership team in welcoming both Kimmberly and Rob to Eseye’s Board of Directors; they are entering the business at an extremely exciting and prosperous time,” comments Nick Earle, CEO of Eseye. “They bring a wealth of experience and a perfect blend of technology and business acumen to Eseye, which will prove enormously beneficial to customers and partners.”

Growing Team Demonstrates Growing Global Momentum

In the last 12 months, Eseye has experienced tremendous momentum, in response to the rapidly growing demand for enterprise-grade IoT solutions powered by ubiquitous global connectivity. With the Americas pivotal to achieving truly global deployments, Eseye has trebled its roster of proven, senior industry leaders in the region, all of whom are focused on providing best-in-class, reliable managed IoT services to support complex worldwide IoT deployments for global enterprises.

The addition of Rob and Kimmberly to Eseye’s Board comes on the back of the recent appointments of Brian Casto as Senior Vice President of Eseye’s Global Professional Services, Michael Cihra as Senior Vice President, Alliances and Partners, and Larry Socher as Eseye’s new Vice President of Strategy and Solutions.

“The appointment of both Kimmberly and Rob illustrates Eseye’s current industry standing and our aggressive growth plans for the future. I know from first-hand experience that they will be great assets to the business going forward,” adds Earle.
