Eseye’s Infinity IoT Platform™ wins Best IoT Security Platform (Platinum), with CEO, Nick Earle also recognised as an IoT Mover and Shaker

Guildford, UK – 6 September 2022: Eseye, a pioneer of leading-edge IoT connectivity solutions, is proud to announce that it has won the prestigious ‘Best IoT Security Platform (Platinum)’ accolade from Juniper Research’s Future Digital Smart Cities & IoT Innovation Awards, for its innovative Infinity IoT Platform™.

With entries assessed on product innovation and partnerships alongside features and benefits, Juniper Research recognised Eseye’s Infinity IoT Platform as providing an innovative security solution to IoT and connectivity markets. Infinity scored highly for innovation, certificate-based security and an ability to secure IoT operations at the SIM-level and device-level.

One of the greatest security challenges in IoT is gaining complete visibility of every device in an IoT estate. eSIM technology has made this issue more pronounced as every time the device changes network connectivity, the IP address changes with it, which means visibility is lost.

The Eseye Infinity IoT Platform™ solves this challenge by delivering a single, customisable, and scalable network for organisational global IoT deployments. Eseye’s AnyNet Federation – a global alliance of 700+ leading mobile network operators – grants access to ubiquitous, near 100% global connectivity.  It’s implemented through a policy-based software defined network (SDN), which provides extensible, secure, and reliable low-latency connectivity.

The SDN mitigates the risk of global IoT deployments by supporting high speed communications between multiple resilient and secure data centres.

Nick Earle, CEO, Eseye imparts: “Eseye is the only connectivity provider to have developed its own policy based SDN built on a global MPLS backbone. The beauty of our Infinity IoT Platform™ is that we always know where our customer’s devices are and what they’re doing, regardless of which network they are connected to. This gives us a ’single eye of the needle’ view of all IoT device data transmitted which is vital for unified security, policy management and analytics.”

Sam Barker, Head of Analytics & Forecasting at Juniper Research said: “Eseye’s Infinity IoT Platform provides a comprehensive portfolio of services that enable clients to manage a range of use cases, by managing IoT devices and optimising connectivity for the network. With the ever-growing implementation of connectivity within operations across all industries, the Infinity IoT Platform has demonstrated its ability to enable the organisation of large IoT networks. Additionally, we would like to commend Nick Earle, CEO of Eseye, for being awarded Juniper Research’s IoT Mover and Shaker Award.”

IoT Mover and Shaker

As touched upon above, in addition to this prestigious ‘Best IoT Security Platform (Platinum)’ accolade,  Eseye CEO Nick Earle also won Juniper Research’s IoT Mover and Shaker Award. The award recognises those who have led innovation and disruption in the IoT space.

Nick is a visionary business leader with a distinguished career in technology spanning more than 30 years. This includes working with a mix of start-ups, global IT, tech, and transportation companies. Since becoming CEO of Eseye in 2018, Nick has spearheaded Eseye’s vision to become a tech disruptor and world leader in IoT connectivity. Nick has grown the Eseye team by 77% with the company now boasting over 2,000 customers, including four Global Fortune 10 corporations.

He is an inspirational thought leader within the IoT industry and hosts the IoT Leaders Podcast which regularly interviews industry leaders and explores how IoT is making an impact across a variety of industries.

Commenting on both awards, Nick said: “A double win for Eseye! We are honoured to receive these awards from Juniper Research! I am extremely proud of the team’s achievements since I joined in 2018, including the launch of our latest Infinity solution. Our team continues to expand as we lead the way in IoT innovation, striving to ensure that IoT deployments are as seamless and successful as possible.”

Eseye Enables the Best Urban EV Charging Solution

Alongside these two wins – Eseye is delighted that its partner, leading electric vehicle (EV) charge point provider, InstaVolt, has also been recognised by Juniper Research as having the best urban EV Charging Solution (Platinum) and winning the Pathway to Net Zero award.

InstaVolt selected Eseye as its connectivity partner to ensure near 100% connectivity and availability for customers in the UK. Charge points embedded with Eseye AnyNet+ SIMs are designed to operate for up to 30 years, futureproofing InstaVolt’s urban EV charging solution by offering total flexibility and fallback connectivity options.
